Welcome

I am an assistant professor (Juniorprofessorin) in Quantitative Economics at the University of Potsdam, Germany, and member of the Center for Economic Policy Analysis (CEPA). I obtained my PhD (summa cum laude) in 2022 from Universität Hamburg.

My research combines experimental, meta-analytic, and computational text-analysis methods to study inequality in economic outcomes. It is organised around four areas: economic preferences, language and education economics, culture and migration economics, and communication and cooperation.

I teach quantitative methods at all levels, from introductory statistics to graduate seminars on machine learning and text analysis. Beyond academic audiences, I engage in science communication, including the social-science podcast Herzkopfen (with Luise Görges).
